What are your hours?

I am available by appointment only.

What forms of payment do you take?

I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Checks, HSA or cash.

I ask all new patients to provide their credit card information to reserve their appointment. I will keep this information on file.

How do I make an initial appointment?

You can get your initial consultation scheduled by clicking the link at the bottom of this page, texting, or calling (320) 339-9963. When calling, I will complete or schedule a free 15-minute consultation to allow me to learn more about you and will enable you to determine if you would benefit from engaging in services.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Because I reserve time specifically for you, I require a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule standard appointments and a two-week notice for intensive services. Appointments canceled without sufficient notice will be charged a session fee.

What can I expect when I arrive for my intensive?

An EMDR Intensive is designed to provide focused, streamlined healing in a supportive, structured environment. Before your intensive day, we complete a brief consultation and pre-intensive questionnaire to make sure the intensive is the right fit for you and to clarify your goals. This ensures that when you arrive, we already have a clear plan in place, allowing us to spend the day fully engaged in EMDR work.

During the intensive, you can expect a balance of resourcing, grounding, and EMDR reprocessing, with breaks as needed. The day concludes with a closing integration session so you leave feeling supported, settled, and prepared for what comes next.

The first session of your intensive is also an opportunity to ask questions, review the process, and build trust, so you feel safe and empowered throughout your healing. Our goal is to create a structured, dependable, and safe space where you can engage deeply with your healing, while maintaining control and comfort every step of the way.

What is mental health?
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It can affect how we think, feel, and act. Being healthy emotionally can promote productivity and effectiveness in work, school, or caring for yourself and others.
How do I pick the right therapist for me?

Picking the right therapist can seem challenging and overwhelming at times. The “About” section gives a snapshot of me which you can view before scheduling your first appointment. I encourage you to call my office for an initial consultation to discuss your individual needs so I can help determine if I am the best fit for you.

What is the typical length of the therapy sessions?

An EMDR Intensive is typically completed over 1–4 full days, depending on your needs and goals. Each day is structured to include focused EMDR processing, grounding, resourcing, breaks, and a closing integration session.

Because the work is concentrated, the intensive allows for meaningful progress in a much shorter time frame than traditional weekly therapy. Most clients find that after an intensive, they leave feeling supported, settled, and better equipped to continue their healing.
