Are you feeling alone and lost connection?
You are not alone in your experience. Peer support can make a difference.
Working in a group setting provides an opportunity to learn from and interact with other people with the same struggles you are facing.
Group members build connections – forming a bond with each other – allowing everyone to give and receive honest feedback while exploring themselves.
We are stronger as a herd!
The use of horses facilitates our groups.
Engaging in groups with humans and horses helps you become grounded in the present and explore yourself while building genuine connections with others.
Horses allow the opportunity to practice.
Incorporating horses can help the group members develop and practice interpersonal relationship skills, including communication, trust, empathy, respect, responsibility, and boundary setting.
Here’s what a typical group might look like.
Our group meetings occur in a pasture setting with 12 or fewer group members and two providers.
The group starts with an icebreaker introduction and then moves to a mindfulness exercise to help engage all members in the present experience.
The group then engages in individual or small group activities that promote relationship skills in addition to building self-love, self-compassion, and self-care.
Join the group!
Our groups promote authenticity and connection, and allow everyone to be open with what’s on their mind.
The horses help enhance interactions within the group and promote connectedness.
